Received letter today from RBS stating a full set off has been conducted and there is a balance that I still owe RBS. Questioned this and told RBS can't take any action to get this money after trust deed but don't know why it's worded on letter that I still owe.
So the saga continues and may need to contact lawyer now

Thats why they have lost past cases . It leaves a bitter taste for rbs having to pay out ppi money . Rbs where the worst offendersc

Rbs will be waiting on there lawyers sorting out Donnelly case which I don't think they will appeal . Then there review . Could be months to get ppi money . The argument has always been there is no debt to off set against . The Supreme Court has just confirmed this again . Waiting game

Just spoke to hodgsons again lady on phone says Mr Mond still speaking to council and does not think anything will be done this side of Christmas this is shocking he was quick enough to accept the money but not quick to give it back

Is he definitely going to pay out? Or is the delay as he is considering 'reduction'
It is poor 'customer service' in any case, lack of communication and time it is taking to resolve is outrageous.

They are all at it. I am still waiting on RBS to pay out. I was told that they have a backlog but hopefully will be sorted by 10/12/18. They still intend to do offset but wouldn’t comment when questioned about Donnelly and Mond verdicts. They are a joke.

Same here Contoboy, when I questioned RBS about Donnelly or Mond cases they go quiet but still went ahead with off set.
Hopefully it will get sorted soon and I think RBS should pay us all extra for the interest we are losing and the stress caused by them
