Hello I was looking for advice on my debt online. I have put this off for far to long and need to address it. I have all kinds of debt well over 10k for council tax, energy bills, payday loans. Even though I left it so many years I am starting to get contacted again, I found this company online (LINK REMOVED BY ADMIN) who looked asked me to gather my debt from the company's I owe money to. This seems to have only increased the contact from them, it's so stressful to try and find every single piece of debt I owe seems to be so much in different places, is there anyway I can do this quicker? Are there any companys who do this part for you?

Welcome to the forum Johnnym.

I've removed the link you posted as we ask forum posters not to add links.

You might get some help by reviewing your credit file. One free service available for this purpose is Noddle.co.uk.

Johnny, imo and experience....

I'd recommend Clearscore as another free credit report site. I found them much easier than Noddle.

Please make your first port of call your local Citizens Advice Bureau.
Don't do anything, until you speak with them, their advice is second to none.

If you decided trust deed / sequestration / DAS is the way forward, please read spend a few hours reading through this forum for other peoples opinions on various firms - then decide!

Hi johnnym and welcome to the forum.

As other have advised you can obtain your credit report from a variety of sources for free online. This wonít bring up all of your debt as things council tax doesnít show on this.

When it comes to assisting a client that isnít sure about their debts I try to work all of this out for them. We have Experian internally and can run an Experian report and also contact the council on your behalf to find out what the balances are.

Once we know how much debt you have and we have went over a very thorough income and expenditure to see how much you can pay per month I can then tell you what options you have available to deal with your debts.

How much do you think you could pay per month towards a plan?

Also, do you own any assets such as a house or car?

The most important thing is to take your time and do a little research.

Hi everyone.

Johnnym happens to have the same name as the bloke who runs the company that built the trust deed website that he linked to in his first post.

Might be a coincidence of course...
