Hi All,

Just want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and thanks for all the help from all the advisors on the site this year, it has been brilliant. I have been in a trust deed for around 8 months and looking forward to a stress free Christmas and not worrying about how I will pay back the credit cards this year cos I ain't got any!! Have fun all x.

Happy Christmas to everyone!

Even though I'm still in the "pre-protection" phase, this will be the first Christmas for years that I'll be able to enjoy it without constantly thinking about money worries. I was getting used to thinking about debt when I opened my eyes on Christmas morning. Seriously.

Thank you TDA, the experts and everyone on here for your advice and support. This really is a great resource.

And Merry Christmas to my old friend MBNA too. Or should that be Bah Humbug. Despite having had over £20,000 in interest from me over the years, they sent me a letter today asking me to cut up my cards because they don't want to be my friend any more. A thanks for my previous custom and all the money I sent them over the years would have been nice. Ah well. At least that's one less Christmas card I need to send. I'm keeping better company these days anyhow ;-)

And to those still thinking about a TD, make 2011 the year you take action, whatever that may be. Believe me, your debts simply don't need to rule your life - take control back - it's easier than you think.

Cheers and Merry Christmas!

Hi all

Would also like to to wish all members of the forum, TDA and all of the experts a merry christmas. Find myself echoing the sentiments of DFW once again (perhaps becuase we are at same stage of the trust deed process). Recent christmases haven't been about what they should be about as I was finding myelf worrying about the debts that I have. Now, I still have the debt, but I have now decided to do something about it instead of burying my head in the sand and hoping that things would work out. I have no doubts that 2011 will turn out to be a more positive year than previous years and hopefully this will be the same for all of the members of this forum.

Anyway got to go, all this positivity, I am feeling quite light-headed.

All the best everyone.

Yeah, hope you all had a good xmas, and all the best for the new year. After a miserable few years and the break up of my marriage (made things very complicated!) I am 29 days away from my final payment, which I can hardly believe ! At times its been a huge struggle and I've found myself virtually penniless due to the break up and the knock on from that.

Never, ever wilI be Mr Scattercash again ! A hard lesson, but a very fair one.

Great web site guys !
